FAQ

What is a Non-CMRA virtual mailbox?

A CMRA is a commercial mail receiving agency. Non-CMRA means this point is not treated as a typical CMRA. Some are USPS RDI Residential; others are Commercial but still marked Non-CMRA. Whether a bank or card issuer accepts it is up to that institution.

Residential vs Commercial RDI

USPS RDI marks a delivery point as Residential or Commercial. You can filter to residential / RDI Residential. Cards also show Classification / RDI.

How do I verify a residential address myself?

Check again before you pay. Use “Verify” on the card, or paste the full street into the tools below. Field names differ by site.

A solid combo is Smarty (RDI) + USPS (standardization) + Maps (street view). This list is a filter. The issuer decides whether they accept the address.

What happens after I sign up?

You usually still need USPS Form 1583 (notary or CAA, depending on the provider) before mail is released. Follow the mailbox company you picked.
