On the ordinary-member side, Flying Club voucher value has been noted up to about 75,000 Virgin Points. Silver and Gold caps are separate. Read the terms before you use a certificate. Las Vegas Virgin Hotels may sit out some hotel perks.

Downsides

• The $99 fee needs Virgin spend, or the anniversary points and hotel perk, to make sense.
• Issuer is Synchrony. Community notes on service are mixed.
• It fits better after the credit file is already steady and the main cards are in place.

If you are not a regular on Virgin flights, hotels, or cruises, everyday 1x to 2x will often lose to a transferable-points card. If you already spend inside Virgin, the 80k tier plus 5k a year plus the third-night style perk is worth lining up against the apply page.

The August 2026 look is about 80k welcome points, through about 24 August, in two spend chunks of 60k and 20k. Annual fee $99, no FTF, perks sit inside the Virgin group.

Check that you will use Virgin Points and Personal Perk, then check whether 3-month and 6-month spend happens on its own. Treat Synchrony service and approval as a separate question. Do not apply on the airline logo alone.
