Three Marriott cobrands are on raised welcome offers: Brilliant, Bevy, Boundless
Public pages in August 2026 show raised welcome offers on Amex Brilliant (150k plus $250 after $6k in 6 months), Amex Bevy (125k plus $150 after $5k in 6 months
What happened
Marriott Bonvoy’s three common personal cobrands, Amex Brilliant (old SPG Luxury), Amex Bevy, and Chase Boundless (old Premier Plus), are all showing raised welcome offers on public apply pages. The table is an August 2026 snapshot. Open the apply page and trust that screen.
| Card | Issuer | Welcome offer (public snapshot) | Typical spend | Annual fee | | ---- | ------ | ------------------------------- | ------------- | ---------- | | Brilliant | Amex | 150k points plus $250 statement credit | $6,000 in 6 months | $650 | | Bevy | Amex | 125k points plus $150 statement credit | $5,000 in 6 months | $250 | | Boundless | Chase | 4 free nights (about 50k points each, 4FN) | $3,000 in 3 months | $95 |
Bonvoy point value depends on the hotel or airline transfer. Rough math is only for comparison.
Amex Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant
This is Marriott’s high personal Amex, formerly Starwood Preferred Guest American Express Luxury Card.

Public notes on the welcome offer:
- $6,000 in the first 6 months, then 150,000 Marriott points plus a $250 statement credit
- Window often listed through about 30 Sep 2026
- A public high recently hit 200k (about March to May 2026). 150k plus $250 is still above the mid-range 100k tier
Standing benefits (separate from the welcome offer, follow the benefits hub):
- Bonvoy Platinum while you hold the card
- About 25 elite-qualifying nights each calendar year (personal Marriott cobrands usually take the highest night grant on the account, they do not stack)
- From year two, after the fee posts, an anniversary free night often described as up to about 85,000 points. Top-up rules follow that year’s note
- Dining credit often listed as about $25 a month, up to about $300 a year
- Hotels often 6x, restaurants and airlines 3x, other spend 2x
- About $60k calendar spend unlocks a choice such as a suite credit, mattress discount, or an 85k free night. Follow the page
- Priority Pass Select after enrollment. Lounge and guest rules follow Amex and Priority Pass
- Global Entry / TSA PreCheck application fee credit, no foreign transaction fee
Annual fee $650, not waived year one. The fee usually does not count toward the welcome spend.
Amex Marriott Bonvoy Bevy
Mid-fee Amex Marriott personal card. Its welcome points rose in the same wave as Brilliant.

Public notes on the welcome offer:
- $5,000 in the first 6 months, then 125,000 Marriott points plus a $150 statement credit
- Window often listed through about 30 Sep 2026
- A public high recently hit 175k (about March to May 2026). The mid-range had sat near 85k
Standing benefits:
- Bonvoy Gold
- About 15 elite-qualifying nights each calendar year
- Hotels 6x. Grocery plus dining often 4x on the first $15k a year. Other spend 2x
- About +1,000 points per qualifying Marriott stay (official site or a qualifying agent; third-party OTAs usually do not count)
- About $15k calendar spend, then one free night often capped near 50k points
- No foreign transaction fee. Amex Offers can apply
Annual fee $250. This card usually does not hand an anniversary free night just for paying the fee, unlike Boundless and Brilliant. The free night is more spend-gated.
Public notes on same-family order: a higher-fee Amex in the family can block the lower-fee welcome. If you want both, most public write-ups say Bevy first, then Brilliant.
Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless (old Premier Plus)
Chase’s main personal Marriott card. Older links still say Premier Plus. The live name is Boundless.

Public notes on the welcome offer:
- $3,000 in the first 3 months, then 4 free nights, each often capped near 50,000 points (4FN)
- A recent public high was 5FN. Mixed 125k plus 1FN has also shown up
- Separate airline-style credit often listed through about 30 Jun 2027. Direct airline tickets over a spend gate can post statement credit, commonly described as about $100 across two half-years. New accounts may auto-enroll. Existing accounts follow the promo page
Standing benefits:
- Annual fee $95
- From year two, after the fee posts, an anniversary free night often capped near 35k points. Expiry and stacking follow Chase and Marriott
- Silver while you hold the card. About $35k member-year spend can push Gold
- About 15 elite-qualifying nights each calendar year, plus a rule often described as 1 extra night per about $5,000 spend. Follow the benefits page
- Marriott hotels 6x. Grocery, gas, and dining often 3x on the first about $6,000 combined. Other spend 2x
- No foreign transaction fee
Chase side: 5/24 applies. Current Boundless or Bold holders, or anyone who took this family’s welcome in 24 months, often fail the welcome offer.
Cross rules and order
Marriott sits on both Amex and Chase, so the overlap is messier than a single issuer. Public notes often include:
- Amex family. Want Bevy and Brilliant, start with Bevy.
- Chase Boundless. 5/24, plus a common 24-month welcome lock against other Chase Marriott personal cards and Bold.
- Cross issuer. Holding or recently taking the other issuer’s Marriott cobrand (30-day, 90-day, or 24-month triggers show up in write-ups) can block that side’s welcome.
- Same-card welcome is usually once. Waiting forever for a higher tier can also miss the window.
- A product change into the target card usually does not pay a new-card welcome.
Amex still has personal card-count and 90-day approval rhythm. Chase still has a practical habit around multiple cards in 30 days.
| Your situation | Card people usually look at | | -------------- | --------------------------- | | Many Marriott nights, want Platinum and a high anniversary night, can pay $650 | Brilliant | | Want raised points plus credit, mid fee, Gold is enough | Bevy | | Room under 5/24, want several FN certificates, low fee | Boundless 4FN | | Want Bevy and Brilliant | Bevy then Brilliant, and recheck overlap | | Just took the other issuer’s Marriott welcome | Count 30 / 90 / 24 months first |
Carddoger take
Three personal Marriott cobrands raised welcome offers at once. Brilliant is large points plus $250. Bevy is mid points plus $150. Boundless is four 50k-tier free nights. Fees and status sit a rung apart. No card fits everyone.
Open the apply page. Confirm points, night count, spend window, and any end date. Screenshot it.
Clear overlap, 5/24, and Amex card count before you argue about how good the offer looks.
See if natural spend can hit 3 or 6 months. Manufacturing spend for points is a bad trade.
Pay the fee only if dining credit, free nights, and status from real stays cover it. Skip Brilliant if you do not stay Marriott.
