Chase Aeroplan Card limited welcome, up to 100,000 Aeroplan points

A limited Chase Aeroplan Card welcome is back in public trackers. Spend $4,000 in 3 months for 75,000 points, then $20,000 in the first 12 months for another 25

What happened

In early August 2026, travel sites and offer trackers again logged a limited Chase Aeroplan Card welcome, up to 100,000 Aeroplan points in two stages.

| Stage | Spend | Points | | ----- | ----- | ------ | | First | $4,000 in the first 3 months | 75,000 | | Second | $20,000 in the first 12 months | another 25,000 |

Top total is 100,000 points. Annual fee is $95. After the first stage, the second stage still needs the 12-month total at $20,000 (about $16,000 more spend).

In the same window, Chase’s regular product page still often shows 60,000 points after $3,000 in 3 months. The 100k tier usually sits on a limited landing page or a specific sourceCode. After you open apply, trust that page and the terms overlay. Do not rely on a list summary alone.

Product-page limits that usually sit on this welcome:

  1. Current Chase Aeroplan Card holders usually cannot take this new-card welcome.
  2. Anyone who earned this card’s new-card welcome in the last 24 months usually cannot either.
  3. Qualifying spend usually excludes balance transfers, cash-like transactions, and the annual fee. Read the full terms.
  4. Points often post about 6 to 8 weeks after you hit the gate, if the account is open and in good standing.

Chase 5/24 still applies. Approval and which offer you see follow the system, not a tracker screenshot.

Standing benefits from Chase and Air Canada public pages (they can change):

  • About 3 points per dollar on dining (including qualifying delivery), grocery stores, and Air Canada tickets bought direct. About 1 point per dollar elsewhere.
  • Each calendar month, an extra 500 points per $2,000 spend, up to 1,500 points that month.
  • New primary cardmembers get Aeroplan 25K for the rest of the open year plus the next calendar year. Later years follow spend-to-keep rules.
  • On qualifying Air Canada-originating flights, the primary cardmember and up to 8 people on the same booking get the first checked bag free (about 50 lb).
  • Global Entry / TSA PreCheck / NEXUS application fee statement credit, once every four years, up to about $120.
  • Pay Yourself Back on recent travel, dining, grocery, and gas. No foreign transaction fee on the product page’s category list.

Aeroplan can book Air Canada, Star Alliance partners (United, Lufthansa, ANA, and others), and some non-alliance partners. Cabin, taxes, and space follow the moment you book.

Carddoger take

The first stage, 75,000 after $4,000, is thicker than the usual 60,000 after $3,000. The second 25,000 sits on a high 12-month total. Not everyone should chase it.

Open the apply page. Confirm you actually see 75k / $4k and 25k / $20k. Screenshot it.

Ask first whether the first stage fits normal spend. Treat the extra $16,000 as a cost against other cards and bonuses.

The card fits people who already fly Air Canada or Star Alliance, or who want 25K and the bag perk. If you only want to stockpile points, still check 5/24, the 24-month welcome lock, and your approval odds.

Aeroplan value depends on the ticket you book. Business and mixed-cabin awards can be strong. There is no fixed cash value.
