KuCoin Pay launches enterprise stablecoin gift cards in USDT and USDC

What happened

On 6 August 2026 KuCoin Pay posted that KuCoin Gift Card is live. The product is for companies that want to send USDT and USDC as digital gift cards, including bulk issue and an API.

Companies can send cards to customers, partners, staff, and community members. Official scenes include customer rewards, promotions, employee incentives, and community ops. Recipients redeem on KuCoin and receive the matching stablecoin. It is not a store-branded mall card.

After redeem, the asset can stay in the KuCoin stack, move, or enter supported pay-and-spend flows. Official copy wants issue, receive, and use as one path, not a coupon that dies after one tap. Bulk and API are in the same text so issue can sit inside acquisition, membership, promo, and internal recognition tools.

Managing director Alicia Kao talked about adoption. She said that besides trading, everyday activity needs a simpler way to exchange and use digital assets. That is company positioning. Treat it as background. Live capability still follows the product page and which regions are actually open.

KuCoin Pay is KuCoin's merchant-pay stack. Public materials cite 50-plus crypto assets, including KCS, USDT, USDC, and BTC, in some online and offline scenes. Gift Card hangs on that pay-and-distribute layer. The job is companies sending stablecoins out.

Public materials still skip several facts. Whether individuals can buy for themselves. Which jurisdictions are open. Whether redeemed value can leave on-chain immediately. For ops and rewards teams, the value is bulk, API, and a stablecoin face value. If you need to send USDT or USDC to a list of people without writing your own transfer script, check whether Gift Card is open for your region and entity.

For an individual, first name what you received. A stablecoin gift card redeems into a KuCoin account. A brand gift card bought with Pay spends under that brand's rules.
