How the site says it works (three steps)

1. Same-day install. After you order online, welcome mail inside about 24 hours has the box number. You can try the address first
2. Account activation. Inside about two weeks, send the service agreement plus ID copies
3. Same-day notice. After activation, incoming mail or parcels trigger email. Reply with what you want done

Steps

1. Open Plans and pick Personal or Business

Go to Plans & Prices (or the home menu). Match letter volume and scan counts, then Order Now.

Remote personal mail often starts at Personal Mailbox (about $14.99 a month, quarterly).

2. Checkout. Location, promo code, pay

Stripe shows the plan, optional annual add-ons, email / phone, and Select Mailbox Location (First Available or a city).

• After HST the page can show CAD or CNY. One run landed around CA$33.87

After pay, Stripe sends a receipt (example Amount Paid CA$33.87).

3. No register page is normal. Wait for welcome mail

If checkout does not drop you on a register page, that is expected. Support often says there is no separate registration page. Welcome mail usually arrives in about 30 minutes (the site also says about 24 hours) with the activation steps.

4. Read the welcome mail. Box number and next steps

Welcome mail confirms payment and assigns a temporary box number and site address. The working example below writes the box as #25XX. Do not post a real box number.

The mail then says

1. A Virtual Mailbox Agreement signing link will follow later that day
2. Send government ID (passport or national ID, with photo) to compliance@capricacommerce.com. You can mask the ID number. If the ID has no address, add a bill or bank statement from the last 90 days
3. The account is formally live only after the agreement is signed and ID passes. How you write the address sits in the agreement

5. E-sign the agreement (Zoho Sign)

You get a Zoho Sign Digital Signature Request. The file name looks like Private Mailbox Canada Virtual Mailbox Rental Agreement - Cambridge. Tap Start Signing, read it, and sign (including any appendix initials).

After that you get Document completed, with the agreement PDF and appendix. Download a copy.

6. Send ID and a translation if needed

Follow the welcome mail. Send scans to compliance@capricacommerce.com. Non-English ID can go with an English translation. A subject like My identification documents and their translations works.

After review, compliance replies something like ID has been reviewed and verified.

ID and address proof (including a national-ID translation)

Compliance wants government-issued ID (passport, national ID, and similar). A China resident ID is accepted in practice if you send

1. A scan of the ID (mask the number if the mail says so)
2. An English translation (name, address, and ID data match the original)
3. A bill or bank statement from the last 90 days if the ID address is thin or they ask for it

You do not have to translate the ID yourself. Taobao and similar shops sell certified document translations (pick a vendor with a translation stamp you can check). Acceptance is still compliance’s call. The translation should be sharp and match the original.

The next image is a side-by-side ID plus English translation (sensitive bits already masked). Use it as a “what to send” sample.

7. After it is live

1. Write the address the way the agreement shows (street plus box or unit)
2. Watch mail alerts for new letters or parcels
3. To read a letter, request Open & Scan (watch the plan count)
4. To get the physical item, request a forward (service fee plus postage)
